Presbyopia an aging disease? Dr. Paul Singh discussed #presbyopia with Dr. AnneMarie Hipsely, CEO of Ace Vision Group at ASCRS in Boston earlier this year. The VisioLite laser restores the eyes natural dynamic range of focus through Laser Scleral Microporation, a minimally invasive therapy that creates micropores on the sclera, uncrosslinking scleral microfibrils, resulting in biomechanical pliability and improved lens shape changeability. Although still not FDA approved, clinical trials are currently underway. We look forward to hearing more about Laser Scleral Microporation and Ace Vision Group.
