How do you explain Ctak
How do you explain CTAK customization to a keratoconus patient? We asked Dr. Clara Chan and Dr. David Hardten. Dr. Chan starts with the diagnostics her center sends to CorneaGen for planning: Pentacam topography and tomography, plus pupil data. Dr. Hardten explains how that imaging lets him plan for the cone location, the severity and, to some degree, the refractive error, so the tissue is prepared for that specific eye. CTAK is a sterile corneal tissue inlay for keratoconus, co-developed with CTAK LLC and Ziemer.
