Presbyopia Drops- Whats to come?

#Presbyopia drops have come a long way and Dr. Nick Bruns gives one of the most straightforward explanations we’ve seen on what’s currently available, who they’re best for, and what’s next. In this video, he walks through the mechanisms behind Vuity (1.25% pilocarpine), Qlosi (0.4% pilocarpine in a more comfortable vehicle), and the promising LNZ100 (a selective muscarinic agent already showing early results). These drops aren’t replacing reading #glasses altogether, but for emerging presbyopes and low hyperopes, they may meaningfully reduce dependency without compromising distance vision. Important watch for anyone trying to stay current on where this category is headed. Disclosures: Dr. Bruns reports financial disclosures with Orasis References: Waring GO, Price FW, Wirta D, et al.
